Dental veneers are thin layers that cover the front and biting edge of a tooth. They are tooth-coloured translucent materials made from either porcelain or composite resin.
Porcelain veneers are the most common and recommended if you are a suitable candidate for veneers. Composite resin veneers are a less expensive material and are more recommended for minor changes in the patients teeth.
If you are considering a dental veneer, it will need to be determined if you need a root canal treatment first prior to having the veneer placed.
Dental veneers can be completed with around 1-3 visits to the dentist.
